Project Summary
Tollgate Creek is located along the north and east boundaries of the project with the new I-225 light rail line along the west boundary. As a result of the improvements in the area for the light rail, RTD performed a CLOMR study for Tollgate Creek which identified this property being in the 100-year floodplain. We assisted the owner in working with the City officials to obtain approvals to import fill material to raise the site elevation out of the floodplain.
RLEG provided construction administration services which included creating bid documents, review and selection of a contractor and coordinating the construction efforts with the City, managing the Stormwater Plan, ensuring geotechnical testing of import material and follow up with stability of the site of erosion control.
